Hello everyone, We are currently in discussions with an Asia department of the GIZ, which is considering a new project involving Asian specialists for German companies. In this context, we want to gather your feedback so that we know whether it is relevant and exciting for you and whether we should get involved accordingly. Here are some questions that are important to GIZ: 1) Thematic interests for cooperation with India, Indonesia, Vietnam: Which content-related topics or scientific-practical questions in the field of open AI are particularly relevant for your company (e.g., computer vision, natural language processing, AI ethics, responsible AI, data management)? 2) International cooperation: Could you imagine collaborating with universities, research institutions, or SMEs in India, Indonesia, or Vietnam? If so, in what form (e.g., joint data analysis project, feasibility study, technology transfer)? 3) Contribution to university teaching: Would your company generally be willing to participate in practice-oriented university formats (e.g., as a challenge provider, practice partner in teaching modules or guest lectures/mentoring)? 4) Competence development & promotion of young talent: How important is the targeted development of international AI skills among students and junior employees for your company? Which formats do you consider particularly useful (e.g., internships, summer schools, joint hackathons)? 5) Expectations and framework conditions: What prerequisites would have to be met for your company to actively participate in such an international cooperation format (e.g., resources, thematic fit, legal clarity, coordination structure)? We would be delighted to hear your feedback on whether we should get involved. Feel free to email me at lukas.lanz@ki-verband.de or contact me right here.
