Fundacja Klaster LifeScience KrakówThe Klaster LifeScience Krakow (KLSK) is a cluster initiative representing an innovation ecosystem involving six groups of interest: businesses, academia, research & innovation, hospitals, business support, and local government. Our strategy and programmes support the growth of the entire ecosystem, not just the partners in the cluster network.
KLSK is the strategic partner of regional authorities in implementing the RIS3 strategy, with “life sciences” serving as the model for regional smart specialisation. We have experience in H2020 projects and received the Seal of Excellence for the “European Digital Innovation Hub – HealthGoDigital” project proposal.
We facilitate the LSOS open collaboration platform to build a life science and health-oriented innovation ecosystem. We are actively involved in two relevant international networks: the Council of European BioRegions and ScanBalt.
We annually organise the international event Life Science Open Space (www.LSOS.info), an open innovation forum dedicated to collaboration for health and quality of life. KLSK has the capacity to collaborate with the central government and effectively facilitate dialogue with regional governments, translating into the ability to deliver results in terms of policy execution.
Finally, our experience in applying systems thinking tools and methods can help to develop and solve complex problems related to innovation ecosystems.
